Week 2

- Activity

This week, we learned about Tourism ads (conform and subvert), Genres, and Semiotics.

- Problems

I still have problems on noticing details in media  that conform or subvert.

- Solutions

I can go back to finding the genre convention and see whether they have the common features that conform to the genre

- To Do

Research for my tourism ad project.

Week 3

- Activity

This week we learned about different camera angles and their effect on the characters and how the audience feel about the characters.

- Problems

I am sometimes confused to analyze the camera angles especially when it is a combination.

- Solution

I tend to see what effect this gives the audience and try to relate with the camera angle.

- To Do
Finish up my research

Week 4

- Activity

We learned about different types of shots, audios (music) that creates effects on the audience (diegetic and non-diegetic), and whether they are melodic, discordant, or contrapuntal. Learn how to make story board, based off a scene.

Self Reflection: Throughout the process of this project, my weekly progress didn't really go as my weekly plans because I have other assignments to do that overlaps with my media studies plan and it's making it very difficult to keep up on track with the timeline of this project.
